Serves x 6 people
Prep time, 5 minutes, cook time, 25 minutes
Ingredients:
· ½ cup of maple syrup
· 2 x tbsp maple syrup
· 1 x tsp ground cinnamon
· ¼ tsp of cayenne pepper (or more if you like it spicy)
· ¼ tsp of flaky sea salt
· 1 x tbsp of fresh rosemary, chopped
· 2 x cups of mix nuts
Method:
1. Chuck all the spices and the maple syrup into a saucepan, whisk and simmer on a medium heat until combined.
2. Slowly add in the nuts and decrease the temperature to a low heat. Cook for 20 minutes, stirring often.
3. Meanwhile. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
4. Once the nuts are cooked, stir in the rosemary.
5. Spread the nuts evenly over the baking tray and set until cooled. This can last for up to a week in a container.
